Christmas 2009 (finally!)

I have been procrastinating again! Just being lazy...but here goes:
We had a very nice, simple Christmas here at home. Christmas eve we had our traditional homemade pizza dinner, then made cinnamon rolls for the morning, read in Luke 2, opened new Christmas pj's and watched a Christmas movie together...then sent the kids to bed with visions of sugar plums...or such.Tracking SantaSanta came:And kids were very happy with the loot:Then it was off to California...Unfortunately, I was a lazy photographer and I have very few pics of our trip...but here are a few.
Celebrating with cousins (my side):Then a trip to Ventura Harbor with cousins and Grandma Cindy (Danny's side) where we rode the carousel, played games and got some funky hats (thanks, Grandma!)We also went camping at our favorite place, Carpinteria, for New Years...of which, sadly, I have not a single picture. But we had a great time ringing in the new year at the beach. Fun times.

James turned 11 months on our trip, and, again, I have to wonder where the time has gone!At 11 months he has mastered crawling, is eating like a champ (finally!), broke through his two top teeth (with another on it's way shortly) and weighs (unofficially) about 16 pounds...still our little runt, but still the cutest, sweetest little guy.

We had such a fun time on our trip to see family. Thanks everyone for the good times!

One last picture:Oh, the things we do to entertain our young 'uns on a loooong car ride...this bought us a good half hour in the last stretch...totally worth the clean up! Gotta love licorice!

Hope you all had a fun Christmas and New Years.

I love that last picture! Its so true what you will do to survive the car trips. We let our two empty an almost full box of Kleenex about 9 hours into one trip.

we've done the licorice thing too--but I don't know if our kids ever got that messy! What a great picture!
Looks like you had so much fun with your family. Your kiddos are growing fast. Grace looks so much older and beautiful of course.
Cute Christmas pajamas.
I might post about Christmas...but seeing how I took 670 pictures in December I feel overwhelmed and I'm still sick--I'll post about that one on Sunday after we tell Kyle's parents:) Great Christmas catch up!
And for you--who always told me my house was so clean--you really should see it now...it is like a tornado went though it and I just lay on the couch and look at it as it gets messier and messier:) Maybe I will catch up on THAT this weekend too.
