1 Month

Ok, so it has been a while since I have updated...What can I say? My hands have been a little full of baby as of late! And I have been lazy.
At James' dr's appt. the other day he was 8 lbs 6 oz and 21 1/2". He has put on just over 2 lbs and an inch and a half in his 1 month of life. I'm already getting a little sad that he is growing way too fast. His little cheeks are getting a little chub on them and he is filling out his clothes much better. He's still a little peanut, though, and we can't get enough of him.
Here are some pics of our little James at 1 month:
With his big bro! From Dyl's perspective (not too bad!)
I can't wait until he can smile!! He just looks too darn serious!
So, there, Emily!
There's our little one month old. I will post some more tomorrow...I've had a lot of thoughts running through my head that I need to unleash! I've really missed you all the last few weeks that I haven't blogged.

what a cootie-pa-tootie! I love when they learn to smile, but I also just love love love the serious baby looks. He is so handsome! At 5 weeks old Ruby was 9 1/2 lbs...babies just grow so darn fast. She is now 11 lbs. We'll have to compare when he gets to his 2 month appointment.
I really need to meet him in person.
Glad your kiddos liked the stickers!:) We got some for chore charts and I thought they were the perfect size.

I love the update pictures - especially the one of you holding him. I agree with everyone else - you both look great!

Also, I had forgotten about the serious stage - I used to think Henry was going to just be a really serious little kid, because he always had a very serious look on his face and wouldn't smile or anything. I don't remember my other kids doing that. Anyway, it didn't last long - at a few months old, his huge smiles kicked in and now he doesn't ever stop smiling. I bet James does the same.
