Top o' the mornin' to ye!

Said with the best Irish brogue you can muster!
We had a visit from some Little green men last night. The kids woke up to find that all kinds of mischief had been afoot! The house was a mess and for the trouble they found gold covered chocolate, cookies and a big box of Lucky Charms...with green milk to boot! Well, it seems as though the leprechauns had quite the party at our house! It's okay, though, they left a note explaining their antics!Sorry, it was late and I'm sure they'd had one too many!!!
Jesse commented that the leprechauns were both naughty and nice. Naughty because they messed up the house and nice because they left all the treats. It was a fun way for the kids to wake up. These little guys visited my friend Ginger last year and we were glad they picked our house this time! Thanks, Ginge...I still miss you!

In other news:
Sweet James...there is just nothing sweeter than a sleeping baby! And nothing more frustrating than trying to keep well meaning brothers away from said sleeping baby! These two fell asleep together, so sweet! And here are some exploits of that sweet boy! Poor kid...why do we torture them so?!?Ahh! Baby in a dump truck!
And one final pic...Grace wanted to share her artwork that she made for James.May the Luck o' the Irish be wit ye today!

You are so cute! I may steal your poem to use next year. What a fun way to start the day.

You are a way better mom than I was today...we only got the green milk and then I made green eggs for fun. But I like the mess and the treats...Camryn wondered why she didn't get anything from the leprechans this year. Oops - just missed this one. Maybe next year I'll remember! How cute is that with the dump truck and I bet James loves it.

Love the dump truck dolly.
So funny!
Great tradition. I didn't do anything this year...probably had something to do with the fact that I taught preschool this morning and had no time to be creative for my own children. Maybe next year:)
loved the green kisses on the cheeks

What better place for a little boy than a truck. :) And what a great idea with the morning mischief. I will have to remember that for next year.

Hi Poppy
I don't think we have ever met. My name is Brittney and I am married to your cousin Saul. I was bloghopping around and thought I would see if I could find any of Saul's family. And I Found you- Saul was so excited when I told him and showed him your blog. By the way he says Hi and we are excited to be able to glance in on your sweet family. Congratulations on baby James.
